Monochrome
Having had a long-time fascination for monochrome photography, I studied the work of Ansel Adams and he remains my main source of inspiration. Other influences and sources of inspiration have been Robert Frank, H C-B, William Eggleston, Martin Parr and latterly Paul Gallagher. Interests range from landscape to nature, macro to street/reportage and beyond, with a strong emphasis on monochrome. Since switching completely to digital equipment and processing I have become more and more fascinated by the subtlety of tones and textures possible in a monochrome image.
My photographic equipment is exclusively Canon (digital SLR). A Canon G11 digital compact camera accompanies me at (almost) all times.
